Governance Now 2025 – the flagship conference exploring cultural sector governance, presented by Clore Leadership and the Cultural Governance Alliance (CGA) – returns to London on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.
Power shapes culture – and culture shapes power. Governance Now 2025 will navigate the interplay of power across culture, policy and practice in the context of a complex political landscape and challenging funding environment.
Attendees will explore the evolving power dynamics across boards, executive teams, and communities, unpacking how political shifts, funding reforms, and cultural debates are reshaping governance, accountability, and how power is held, shared, and impacts creative and cultural practice.
What to expect:
“It was an amazing day. I found the speeches very thought provoking, and loved speaking as well. I learnt a lot about governance, which I’ve taken back to my board, prompting some great conversations.”
We welcome Chairs, Trustees, CEOs and key governance decision-makers to hear from and engage with an industry-leading line-up of speakers from across culture, local government, and public bodies, sharing fresh insights and practical strategies to strengthen your board’s effectiveness, resilience, and responsiveness in a landscape where power, politics and constant change consistently intertwine.
Join fellow cultural leaders in a series of keynotes, roundtables, provocations and breakout sessions to exploring essentials topics to the sector. Please see the full programme below for more information.

Individual Tickets

Get Into Governance
Get Into Governance tickets are reserved for those who are currently underrepresented on boards. We’re keen to welcome people who identify as LGTBQIA+, working-class, D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent, those from Black, Asian and Global Majority backgrounds, and young people (30 and under) engaged in or aspiring to engage in governance.
Online Tickets
We are keen to encourage delegates to join us in London, however, we realise that it will not be possible for everyone to access the in-person event. An online ticket provides access to a live stream of some plenary sessions during the conference day (via Zoom) – though unfortunately the stream will not be able to include all break-out sessions, workshops and networking breaks. This content will also be as a recording exclusively available to in-person and online conference delegates after the event.
Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively when tickets have been already purchased. Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
