This one-day intensive course for arts, culture and heritage fundraisers covers the key responsibilities of Trustees giving you the knowledge and confidence needed to join a board and to be an effective Trustee. As part of the course we also offer a unique Trustee matching service introducing participants to arts organisations looking for new Trustees, as well as the chance to join our alumni network.

Findings from the Charity Commission’s Taken on Trust report published at the end of 2017 suggest that the charity sector is keen to diversify its boards. 93% of existing Trustees consider their role important or very important to them and this course is an opportunity to begin to be involved in this unique role which both contributes to your own continued professional development and furthers the sector’s ambitions to attract new, energetic board members.
